Day 1: Welcome

Those of us who arrived in Spain landed with a mixture of nerves and excitement; both from knowing a new country (in the case of most) and, of course, from meeting new people in this project. The Romanian and Turkish teams were the first to arrive in the city of Madrid, where two members of the Spanish team were waiting for us, and then we travelled by subway and by bus to the hostel that would become our home during the exchange in San Lorenzo de El Escorial.

This day was dedicated only to the reception of participants, so we got to know the hostel's facilities and were able to settle in very well. The Portuguese team arrived at dinner time, so we took the opportunity to chat with them for a while after dinner. 

The last ones to arrive were the Italians.

The photos and activities will come later and we will be telling you about them; this blog becomes from this moment on the official website of our exchange, from here we will tell you everything we are doing these days: our visits, workshops, campaigns and parties.
